Job Description


Candidate will be involved in designing the configurations for a Cisco CRS-1 router using the IOS-XR operating system to operate as an Internet and/or VPN edge router (PE) in the AT&T MPLS network using both IPv4 and IPv6. 


Candidate will be primarily responsible for the security aspects of this design, including ACLs, various other filters (VTY, etc), Control Plane Policing, and other security features.


Current security policies should be implemented and suggestions for change proposed as necessary.

Maintenance Mechanic

The Davis Companies is a full service staffing solutions company. We specialize in the placement of Administrative, Manufacturing and Finance professionals.

Our client is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic to set-up and maintain Production Equipment and to ensure that production lines are running efficiently and in accordance to the production schedule. Respond to emergency line issues. Keep all work areas and equipment within safety and AIB standards and clean at all times.

Responsibilities will include:


Equipment Set-up & Change Overs - Obtain set-up parts in advance of line shut-down and inspect for damage, missing components and cleanliness. Set-up lines for container size, cap and product specifications. Pre-test equipment by running containers filled with water through system. Make adjustments required to ensure functionality.
Line Calls - listen for equipment breakdowns and respond in a timely manner. Troubleshoot, repair and make adjustments to equipment, modify equipment as necessary. Fabricate parts as necessary.
Equipment Tear Downs - Prepare equipment for Clean in Place (CIP) or product/line change over.
Preventative Maintenance - Follow PM order and it's attachments. Coordinate with Production Manager to perform PM when equipment is available. Perform PM in a timely manner. Submit work orders.
Champs - Satisfy all PM's by calling up work orders and entering data. Input all hours spent on different jobs.
Projects - odd assignments issued daily. Shut-down maintenance work required. Monitor and tweak machines as they run for improvement.
