Project Manager R&D

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

 
Plan and execute multi-disciplinary R&D projects, in accordance with design control and quality system regulations for the development of InVitro Diagnostics devices and systems, using agreed upon formats, tools, and  methods. Experience with molecular diagnostics or clinical diagnostics with systems and software is preferable.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Under the general direction of functional management, manage day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of R&D projects including budgets, schedules, risk assessment, phase closings and report/document generation
 
Conduct regular meetings with project team and provide regular communicatiion of status to management, vendors as appropriate, and rest of the organization.
 
Enhance and reinforce the company's development process, project participatin and management competence, and cross-functional team relationships
 
 ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
 
To ensure compilation of a fully FDA/ISO compliant design history file (DHF), coordinate with various disciplines throughout the organization in order to get the appropriate documentation created for new product development (including, but not limited to,  risk management documents, SOPs, WIs, testing protocols and reports, and design review meeting minutes).
